CELTIC WAYS

IRELAND

What was Waterford Camino Tours has now become Celtic Ways Ireland. We craft bespoke Celtic themed itineraries that take you off the beaten path and bring you face to face with the real freland. Each day carries with it the opportunity for something totally different to what has gone before; a mountain trail one day, an nid coastal pilgrim path another, a cliff walk, a kayak out to dimmed monastic ruins, even a cycle or a walk around the mystical scenic landscapes of Ireland. We tailor everything to suit you. It pays to slow the pace down, to detox a little from all you’ve left behind, and return to that world all the better for what you have discovered. Time to go deeper into the story of our people and re-discover our shared Celtic past. Time to leave our footprints in the band of our ancestors

Celtic Ways Ireland offer ‘tailor-made’ tours for small groups seeking a more mindful adventure in Ireland with a blend of stunning walks, local guides, cultural experiences and the best of Irish cuisine and accommodation to return to each evening. Each day takes on a magic of its own – each inviting us deeper into the soul of our Celtic past. The pieces are well in place before you take your first steps with us. We pride ourselves in our attention to detail, listening to what you want before crafting that special holiday for you in Ireland. You simply get to the starting point and enjoy the adventure… leave the rest to us.

Celtic Ways Ireland invite you to explore the wonders of Ireland’s Ancient East and discover for yourself the beauty and the wildness that awaits around each new bend. Dial in your compass at any point in the South East and you’re within an hour’s drive of stunning spaces with their own stories to tell. From Glendalough to St Mullins, Jerpoint to Tintern Abbey, this southern corner of Ireland offers beauty and mystery in abundance. Add in Kayaking at Baginbun Beach in South Wexford or along the River Barrow in Graignamanagh or extend your adventure across the Munster Vales and you’ve got all the ingredients you need to create experiences that will live long in the memory. It’s good to come off the beaten path and experience what few visitors to Ireland get to see.

The great outdoors in Ireland have a unique kind of magic; a way of easing us unknowingly into a space within ourselves we may not have known before. We offer a wide range of accommodation settings from our choice of country estates to the luxury of our selected spa hotels to the rustic magic of our chosen glamping pods in the countryside with sumptuous meals to return to each evening.

We schedule particular weeks from Spring to Autumn for our signature St Declan’s Way Camino and St David’s Way in Wales. These are open to individuals, couples, small groups – anyone interested in walking these age-old pilgrim paths with us. We include accommodation, guest guides, coach transfers, your packed lunches and dinners. You’re a guest of ours from the moment you arrive. We won’t let you down!

Simply email Phil and Elaine at info@celticwaysireland.com and we can take it from there. The process is easy. We listen to you. Give us a few days and we’ll be back to you with everything you have asked for and hopefully a little bit more. Trust us to deliver!
